In “Special Consultative Status” with UN ECOSOC and accreditation with UN COSP, Voice of SAP is working to create an Inclusive and Accessible world by accelerating implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN and goals of UN CRPD (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities).
VOSAP submitted a Written statement for 2023 ECOSOC High-level Segment on “Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels.”
The 2023 ECOSOC HLS will be held from 17 to 20 July 2023. The HLS is a three-day ministerial meeting of the High-level Political Forum on sustainable development (HLPF).
- During COVID, Nearly 15% of the global population (PwDs) faced immense exclusion.
- On Flip Side, it presented a far bigger, unprecedented and sustained opportunity to mainstream 1 Billion+ PwD with remote education, employment.
