Microsign Products is a multi-dimensional products company established on February 19,1978 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Microsign Products produces plastic fasteners, clips, clamps, closures and many more products for Packaging, Electronics, Automobile, Defence, Telecommunication and Aerospace Industries. In 1988, Microsign introduced specially abled people as an employees and at present more than 60% of the workforce are physically challenged. The company has Center For Excellence : Empowerment of Youth Activities & Training & Development.
Nisheeth Mehta, Founder and CEO of the company is the man behind this approach of “Human Engineering” which has enabled him to achieve maximum efficiency while mostly employing physically disabled people. His work have received recognition and has been awarded with National Presidential Award To Outstanding Employer For The People with Disabilities For The Year 1999, The NCPEDP Hellen Keller Award For The Year 1999, FICCI Outstanding Achievement In Empowerment Of Physically Challenged For The Year 2003 – 2004, CNN IBN Real Heroes Award For The Year 2009, 3rd Best Paper Award International Conference On CSR & Sustainable Development For The Year of 2013 Thailand. He was also a part of a talk show, Star Plus “Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi” With Amitabh Bachchan in The Year Of 2016.
