Pragati provides a forum for discussion on the socio-economic problems faced by women and to implement some positive schemes for their social welfare and economic development. It has undertaken a number of programmes to promote the interests of women and the weaker sections of society. They include nutrition awareness, vocational training, legal awareness, legal literacy and personality development. It also undertakes studies in policy perspectives.
