VOSAP believes in the power of Youth and volunteerism. Youth represents the dynamic force driving a nation’s present and shaping its future. To cultivate their potential effectively, it is crucial to expose them to several learning opportunities from an early age.

VOSAP IGNITE PROGRAM is 9 month intensive volunteering programs for Grade 9,10,11,and 12 in the US and is designed to encourage young students to volunteer and strengthen the VOSAP mission of helping and promoting the empowerment of Specially Abled People.

  • The program instills a profound sense and nurtures the virtue of ‘Individual Social Responsibility’ in its participants.
  • By actively engaging in community service, participants contribute to societal welfare and also hone invaluable skills such as building networks, problem-solving, teamwork, promoting sensitivity and empathy.

Since its inception in 2021, the IGNITE PROGRAM has garnered significant momentum, with successive batches in 2022 and 2023 Applications for the 2024 cohort are now open, offering a gateway to a transformative journey of personal growth, social impact, and lifelong learning. The deadline for applications is August 11, 2024

Motivated and compassionate students who are currently studying in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade are selected after 2 months of a rigorous process of applications, screening, and selection for the Ignite program across High Schools in North America for 9 months of intensive volunteering program.

Selected students who are US citizens or Permanent residents are eligible for receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) under the VOSAP volunteering program.
