We have got an intense rapport with people involved with tea garden, masons, carpenters, labours and so on. We stood beside them and forwarded are helping hands towards them whenever they faced any sort of trouble which may be in health aspect financial ground, employment crisis or societal conflict. In accordance, we carried out a survey on the area to get a vivid picture on housing and sanitation condition in the locality in the year of 1989. In the year 1990 we started carrying out an AGP on abolition of dowry and promotion of health and hygiene among the people. Our practical field experience and also due to peoples need we started supporting people towards promotion of poultry farming, mushroom cultivation and fishery. We guided our thorough effort towards vaccination of children. But for the project what we have planned for the development/ empowerment of women, we need handful support so that we could successfully implement the project as well as work for its sustainability.
