VOSAP Collegiate is excited to welcome UC Berkeley as our first established collegiate VOSAP Club!!
At our Berkeley chapter, we aim to promote accessibility and the inclusion of persons with disabilities (PwD). The Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) Club which is run by student leaders, will dedicatedly work towards the goal of Empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Our club emphasizes in creating more VOSAP’s volunteer opportunities, it holds informative guest speaker presentations from PwDs to raise more awareness and consistently updates our mapping of accessible buildings on campus through the VOSAP app. Overall, VOSAP Club hopes to raise awareness about the inequities faced by PwD in a college setting and the greater society.
We are looking forward to establishing more such clubs in universities across the US. We hope this positive drop of inspiration brings endless ripples of enthusiasm, empowerment and leadership.
