Meet Palak Desai, 100% Visually Impaired student of 11th Grade from Shivalimal School Dang, a tribal region in rural area of Gujarat.
As part of VOSAP Enablement initiative, she received a smartphone in January 2019. In a conversation with her, She enthusiastically shared her experience of using smartphone with us, ” I received this device from VOSAP and my life has changed a lot. I can do so much with this. I use my phone with talkback and Easy Reader to read academic and other books, I use youtube to listen to music and watch history videos. I am also learning to use computer for browsing, typing and learning new tools. I am so excited to learn more and more each day.”
