Vaishaliben Rohit, a dedicated physiotherapist from Ahmedabad, has been the cornerstone of her family, providing care and support despite her visual impairment. Living with her husband and children, she has faced many challenges over the years. Working with an outdated physiotherapy kit, her ability to offer effective treatment was limited, resulting in a meager income of just 200-300 INR per day.
In January 2024, everything changed for Vaishaliben when she received a new physiotherapy kit at Voice of SAP’s (VOSAP) enablement event in Ahmedabad. This modern kit, equipped with the latest tools and technologies, empowered her to provide more effective and comprehensive care to her patients.
Before receiving the new kit, Vaishaliben worked as a physiotherapist at a special school for intellectually disabled children and took on additional clients during her off hours. With the new physiotherapy kit, Vaishaliben dedicated 3-4 hours every day, six days a week, to her practice. She quickly saw a significant improvement in her work efficiency and patient outcomes. The advanced equipment allowed her to perform treatments more effectively, attracting more patients and enabling her to expand her practice.
As a result, Vaishaliben’s earnings increased to 400-500 INR per session, translating to a stable and substantial monthly income. This boost in income not only improved her financial situation but also enhanced her family’s quality of life. She can now better provide for her children’s education and support her household with greater ease.
