In response to MyGov request to suggest ideas for PM’s Independence speech, I have requested PM to announce from Red Fort launch of 15% Varishtha Divyangjan (Taxable) Bonds to provide a regular income stream to them. I have suggested that maximum investment allowed should be 10 Lakh Rupees and interest income to be taxable to avoid possible misuse. Additional safeguards of Aadhar Card and PAN Card may be made mandatory.
It is becoming difficult to meet day to day expenses for food, vegetables and medicines due to rising prices. In addition healthcare at hospitals has also become very expensive and beyond the reach of citizens.
I have also reminded PM that the promises made to Divyangjans (Persons wih Disabilities) in BJP’s Election Manifesto 2014 for Lok Sabha elections have not been delivered even after 3 years of NDA Government.
I hope these issues will reach PM before Independence Day.
