VOSAP Collegiate, an initiative of Voice of SAP, founded by Manushri Desai and Anusha Singh, is a global network of collegiate disability rights advocates.They are promoting the VOSAP vision and mission by advocating for inclusivity and accessibility for PWD on college campuses These advocates act as change makers and develop skills to become compassionate future leaders.
The Collegiate launched the VOSAP Research Internship in Summer of 2020. 24 undergraduate and graduate students from 12 U.S. universities participated to conduct 14 unique research projects in disability to strengthen data-driven advocacy for Specially Abled People globally.
The program has expanded to include the UC Berkeley Data Sciences Department in Fall of 2020 for a research project on preventing disabilities through vaccination.The project allowed the students to leverage their unique data science skillset for advanced research, for reduction of preventable disabilities with MMR vaccination.
VOSAP Youth Program also encourages volunteering, research, and activities among high school upperclassmen who can join the research program to learn and contribute.
