VOSAP recently collaborated to promote positive transformations and foster a more inclusive society. ‘Anokhee’ is a Unique love story of a girl in a wheelchair, a roller coaster ride of fun, laughter, emotions and a thought Provoking message. We congratulate Vishalbhai Bhatt and the entire “Anokhee” team for coming up with this idea and then to deliver such a highly impactful movie that is appreciated by all viewers in VOSAP charity screening in Ahmedabad, San Jose, Los Angeles, Virginia so far.
Having seen the tremendous success of a charity show in Ahmedabad. VOSAP organized charity shows in the United States, further spreading the message of inclusivity. VOSAP Advocacy, combined with the heartwarming story of ‘Anokhee,’ has ignited a spark of change across borders.
On July 30, special screenings of ‘Anokhee’ were organized in Los Angeles (LA), California and Fairfax, Virginia. The response from both locations was overwhelming, reflecting the growing global appreciation for the movie and the message it conveys. In LA, the show garnered tremendous success, with audiences resonating deeply with the theme of inclusivity. The event not only served as a platform for advocacy but also as a fundraiser.
At the heart of VOSAP’s success are its dedicated donors, who selflessly support the cause and make a significant impact on the lives of those with special abilities. Chief patrons of VOSAP, Manubhai, and Rikaben, inspired donors by announcing a matching donation with the MSI Charitable Trust.
For every amount of donation made between $250 to $500,000, the MSI Charitable Trust will be matching each donation $:$ effectively doubling the contribution’s impact.
The matching donation campaign acted as a powerful catalyst, inspiring donors to contribute generously. Shri ManojBhai and Tejalben Mehta, pledged to donate $100,000. This exemplifies the profound impact VOSAP’s advocacy has on hearts and minds worldwide.
The enthusiasm wasn’t limited to LA, as the volunteers in Fairfax, Virginia, hosted a vibrant event where more than 150 people gathered to watch ‘Anokhee.’ The movie’s impact was evident through the feedback received, as attendees expressed their appreciation for the film’s powerful message of inclusion.
