Like most of the modern technological world, VOSAP believes in the power of data and more specifically, how it can be used to make a strong advocacy point and drive change in the disability sector. In this research project, VOSAP Research Intern Jiawei Wang (USC master’s student), processed over 400 million records using data from American Community Survey (ACS), US Census Bureau and developed an interactive data dashboard on Tableau software to help users better visualize and understand the disability sector, trends, and several data points for immediate action.
