Pranav Desai, Founder of VOSAP, captivated an audience of over 300 attendees with an inspiring message on how dance can transcend barriers and serve as a powerful medium for promoting disability inclusion.
The event showcased the remarkable talent of 30 Bharatanatyam dancers, who delivered a compelling performance portraying the experiences of blind and deaf artists. Their storytelling through dance underscored the art form’s profound ability to evoke emotions, drive change, and foster a more inclusive society.
A special acknowledgment goes to Deepali Ji of Nityashetra for her visionary leadership in bringing this initiative to fruition, alongside VOSAP leader Jayana Shah. The evening was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests, including Artesia City Council Member Zeel Ahir, Artesia Commissioner Daphna Patel, Hark Vasa, Dr. Pradeep Shukla of Chapman University, Rajendra Vora, and other esteemed supporters of the VOSAP mission.
“Dance is a universal language that speaks to the soul, transcending borders, cultures, and abilities.”
