Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) made its mark as an international partner at the International Purple Fest Goa 2024.
The 6-day festival, held in the vibrant state of Goa, witnessed the convergence of over 10,000 participants from across the country, including NGOs, government officials, Divyangjan (specially abled individuals), and exhibitors showcasing assistive devices and products made by Divyang entrepreneurs in India.
The festival commenced on January 8, 2024, with an inspiring address from VOSAP Ambassador Dr Karen Darke as a Keynote Speaker. She eloquently shared the mission of Visionary Founder Pranav Desai for “Viksit Bharat, Vision 2047,” setting the tone for the festival’s focus on long-term impact and societal transformation by coming together as determined community.
VOSAP’s Visionary Founder, Pranav Desai, met with several leaders, Divyang entrepreneurs, Assistive Tech entrepreneurs exhibiting their products, selected NGO leaders, government officials, and secretaries from around the country and state of Goa. These interactions were not mere formalities but insightful discussions revolving around the visionary goal of achieving a $1 trillion economic contribution from the Disability sector in Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Founder Pranav Desai took the stage on January 11, addressing the festival as an international partner. His impassioned speech urged all stakeholders to contribute to Vision 2047 for Viksit Bharat, with a specific call to action for Divyangjan to aspire towards a $1 trillion economy by 2047 and do their part.
The $1 trillion economic goal for the Disability sector by 2047 is not just a number but a testament to the untapped potential that lies within this vibrant and capable community.
