KEY RESULT AREAS :

  • Tech or B Sc or Diploma in ECE or Computer Engineering, must be Certified CCNA.
  • 1 year plus relevant experience in network support role in telecom service provider environment.
  • Good knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows:
    • Network protocols – MPLS, IP, Frame-relay.
    • Routing protocols – RIP, OSPF, BGP4, MP-BGP, EIGRP
    • Technologies – E1/T1, E3/T3
  • Professional level of knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco Routers & Switches.
  • Capability of quickly learning the other network platforms and technologies
  • Good communications skills
  • Possess excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to remain flexible with work hours and schedules when required (due to support required 24*7) and good team player.
  • Ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently handle pressure

SKILL SET:

  • Monitor systems. Using diversified tools to monitor performance and capability of computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems. Working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within their defined areas.
  • Track issues. Tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in detail through a
  • designated ticketing system.
  • Report incidents. Escalating complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate.
