In a landmark event that marked the inauguration of India’s first global multicast news hub, Live Times, leaders from across the country gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. Among the dignitaries were the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath ji, General VK Singh ji (Minister of State, Government of India), and Paralympian Dr. Deepa Malik ji, who all graced the event with their presence.

Joining the event virtually was the Founder of Voice of SAP (VOSAP), Shri Pranav Desai. Despite not being physically present, Shri Pranav Desai’s words resonated deeply with the audience as he congratulated the founders of Live Times, Shri Dilip ji and Shri Gautam ji, for launching a news channel that is set to make a difference. He praised Live Times for its commitment to spreading hope, providing factual information, and dedicating itself to social causes such as disability inclusion.

Shri Pranav Desai emphasized the vital role that media plays in shaping a compassionate and inclusive society. He spoke passionately about how assistive technology is transforming the lives of Persons with Disabilities, enabling them to live with greater independence and dignity. However, he pointed out that technology alone is not enough. The media must focus on the ‘ABILITY’ of Persons with Disabilities, highlighting their strengths and capabilities, and promoting their acceptance in society.

In his address, Shri Pranav Desai expressed his vision of making India accessible and inclusive, where every individual, regardless of their abilities, can participate fully in all aspects of life. He urged the media and society to look at Persons with Disabilities through a different lens, one that emphasizes their abilities rather than their limitations.

In a significant step towards this vision, VOSAP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Live Times. This partnership is aimed at ensuring that the voices of people with disabilities are not only heard but celebrated in mainstream media. VOSAP will provide content that educates the public on the realities faced by people with disabilities, showcases the innovative solutions being developed to support them, and shares stories of courage and empowerment.

As India moves forward, the collaboration between VOSAP and Live Times stands as a beacon of hope and change. Together, they are committed to driving a narrative that not only informs but also inspires, paving the way for a society where every individual’s potential is recognized and celebrated.

This partnership marks a significant step towards building a world where everyone’s voice is heard, and every person’s abilities are valued
