As a member of this community, I pledge to help seniors and promote their safety and well-being. Specifically, I will:
Educate seniors and their families about fall prevention and safety measures that can be taken to minimize the risk of falls in the home.
Advocate for the upgrade of bathroom and home safety features, such as grab bars, non-slip mats, and improved lighting, to make homes safer and more accessible for seniors.
Volunteer my time and resources to assist seniors with home modifications and repairs that can improve their quality of life and independence.
Spread awareness about the importance of disability inclusion and accessibility in our community, and work towards creating a more inclusive and accessible environment for seniors and people with disabilities.
By taking these actions, I hope to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors and promote a more caring and compassionate community.
