Founded in 1985, the Institute for Development Education and Action has been working in the rural and urban areas of West Bengal. Presently its activities are concentrated in the slums of Kolkata and Howrah and also in Rural areas of Howrah, Hooghly, 24 Parganas(N) and Midnapore districts.
