Voice of SAP Founder Pranav Desai was invited at Panelist at “Global Panel discussion on- Disability & Future of work” on May 27,2022
Various other dignitaries were also panelists at the event. Mr. Krishan Kalra (President NAAI, India) joined as Keynote Speaker. Other Panelists at the event were Arati Kakatkar (VP, Procam International,India), Kristin (CEO, Thriving Blind Academy, US) and Sukhjeen Kaur (Director, Chronically Brown, UK).
Mr. Pranav Desai shared that Regardless of economic linkage the key part is to see things differently and focus on the “Ability” of Disabled People. PwDs are a lot more productive and create a better work culture around them. In the 21st Century, with the use of Assistive Technology we can make PwDs more functional which was not possible earlier.
Voice of SAP is changing the narrative of the disability by focusing on “Ability” In the IT sector there is huge demand for People and this available talent pool is an available possible solution. To mainstream SAP in the Job market, VOSAP has a Job Portal with 115+ jobs for PwD. Various partner organizations of Voice of SAP have skill centers to support SAPs.
He also shared how VOSAP App is promoting inclusion, accessibility and empowerment and how the online application for Assistive Devices is helping people get easy access to the devices they need to be functional.
