ENABLEMENT
$1 Million for Specially Abled People: We are thrilled and super thankful to our generous donors for supporting VOSAP wholeheartedly by donating over $1,000,000 at our annual fundraiser gala on September 21, 2024, in Los Angeles.
Enabling with Assistive Devices: VOSAP has successfully distributed over 1,500 Smart Glasses, smart wallets, and other assistive devices to help improve the daily lives of Specially Abled People.
23 Cornea Transplant Surgeries: Under the ‘Gift of Vision’ program, 23 cornea transplant surgeries were done in Ahmedabad.
Mass Enablement Events: Enablement events at Basti and Mumbai empowered Specially Abled People with assistive devices. We thank Shri Ramdas Athwale ji, Minister of State, Govt of India, for gracing the occasion as Chief Guest in Mumbai.
ADVOCACY
VOSAP Mission Recognized by Artesia City Council: The Artesia City Council in California recognized the VOSAP mission with a Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Tony Lima.
Award from ASEI: Our Founder, Shri Pranav Desai, was honored by the ASEI for his relentless dedication to empowering Specially Abled People.
Meeting with India’s Blind Men’s Cricket Team: Shri Pranav Desai met with the Indian Blind Men’s Cricket Team and discussed several collaboration initiatives aimed at enhancing livelihood opportunities for Specially Abled People.
MoU with Live Times TV Channel: VOSAP has signed an MoU with Live Times to collaborate on disability-related content to further our mission of inclusion.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT
VOSAP Igniters Inspiring at Community Events: VOSAP Volunteers participated in India’s Independence Day celebrations in Los Angeles and Dallas, inspiring over 200 people to contribute to the betterment of Specially Abled People in India.
PVSA GOLD: VOSAP Igniter Aaryan Parikh received the prestigious PVSA Gold medal and a letter from the White House for completing over 100 hours of volunteering with VOSAP. Congratulations Aaryan!
